Our Approach

What is the RPM Method?

The Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) is an evidence-informed teaching technique developed to help non-speaking and minimally-speaking individuals access academic and personal communication.

RPM works by engaging a person's natural academic curiosity through rapid prompting and open-ended questioning, creating a pathway for learning and communication that bypasses traditional verbal challenges.

  • Presumes intellectual competence in every learner
  • Creates opportunities for genuine self-expression
  • Adaptable to each individual's sensory profile
  • Supported by thousands of families worldwide
